The Project - Senior Field Producer | Journalist
As a senior member of the team, I work independently out of the Sydney bureau creating factual long form content. I generate original story ideas and creatively bring them to life from inception to broadcast. I research subjects, manage shoot logistics and crews, direct and interview talent in the field, write scripts and oversee the edit process. I help set the agenda, develop long term strategies for the program and negotiate exclusive interviews. I travel interstate and overseas and assume management roles when needed. Essential to the role is strong awareness of media law and ethics, attention to detail, emotional intelligence, artistic vision and the ability to remain calm in a high pressure environment.

As a key member of the news team, I wrote, edited and read live radio bulletins for two different commercial radio markets. The role relied upon my sound news judgement, strong time management skills and the ability to write accurately, concisely and creatively under pressure.

Find My Family - Researcher | Post Producer
As a researcher for the factual documentary series, I identified and developed stories, played detective in search of family histories, liaised with talent, prepared briefing notes and coordinated production schedules. As a post producer, I worked to tight deadlines identifying and scripting original storylines for the emotional and life-changing reunion series.

NSW Government - Senior Media Advisor
My role within both ministerial offices was to provide high level advice on a range of state-based political issues. This included briefing the Ministers with accurate and detailed information to be delivered to the Parliament, media and public. I was responsible for liaising with national and international news journalists and representatives from NSW government agencies and departments. I coordinated media events for both the Deputy Premier and Premier and was responsible for overseeing press releases and responses provided to the media on behalf of the government. Essential to the role was the ability to work and react calmly, efficiently and quickly under pressure. I was also Acting Chief of Staff in the Minister for Roads’ office when required.

TODAY Show - Producer | Journalist
My duties as a producer on the breakfast news program included researching and writing daily news packages and feature stories, conducting interviews in the field, pitching segment ideas and coordinating complex outside broadcasts. I was required to brief on-air presenters in studio and travel with them to produce on location. I also assumed the roles of Chief of Staff, News Editor and Entertainment Producer over extended holiday periods. Critical to the role was the ability to work in a high pressure environment with daily deadlines, a strong working knowledge of social and political issues and attention to detail.

As an on-the-road reporter, I filed breaking news stories for the talk station. My role as news presenter required the ability to identify news stories, script, edit and read news bulletins, cut audio grabs and conduct interviews to tight deadlines.
